Sería algo así como los barbudos pelirrojos. Una web muy creativa, lo mejor es "El barbudo del mes" donde se puede ver un retrato y haciendo clic el modelo original! Me fascina la deformación y ese tipo de línea sucia que hace, (tipo arte bruto) sobretodo porque a mí no me sale! -soy demasiado estructurada-.

That´s a very creative site, the best for me is "Beard of the month" where you can see a portrait and also te original model. I love the deformation he does and also the dirty line, because I can't do it! -I'm too structured-.

Al fin terminé estos dos libros con los que llevaba trabajando unos 6 meses! UF, qué alivio! Ahora 1 día de paréntesis para limpiar la mente (ojalá pudiera ser 1 semana) y seguimos con más!

At last I ended the 2 books in which I was working for about 6 months! UF, it's a relief! Now 1 day off to clean my mind (I wish could be 1 week) and going on!

You have to look everywhere before crossing the street. Specially in Argentina, where the cars doesn´t respect ANYTHING!! This illustration was made for a special Petrobras magazine about pedestrian security.

Estas ilustraciones fueron hechas para una revista de jardinería. El artículo explicaba cómo podar el jardín. Fue de las primeras experiencias en ilustración no infantil.
These illustrations were made fot a gardening magazine. The article explained how to prune your garden. It was one of my first experiences of illustration not for children.

Esta prenda forma parte de una colección de ropa para chicos en la que trabajé hace un par de años, lástima que no tienen tallas más grandes, sino me la pondría!

This garment is part of an entire kids clothes collection I worked for 2 years ago. It's a pity they don't make bigger sizes, otherwise I would wear it!

Mesa de trabajo

Este pegoteo de papeles muestra la forma en que estoy trabajando en mis dos últimos libros. Una especie de collage de cartulinas + papeles de colores + dibujos impresos pintados con lápices. Después de pegarlo todo lo meto en la compu (vía escaner) donde lo sigo retocando y aplicando más color con la compu. Sí, un trabajo de chinos!

This is the beggining of an illlustration for my next book, and it shows the way I'm working for the last 2 books. It's a sort of collage where I stick different coloured papers + printed drawings which I paint with crayons. After that I have a rough illustration which I scan and I continue working on my computer. Yes, it's a very slow and laborious techinque!

La Pincoya

la Pincoya es un espíritu benigno que habita el mar, cuando los pescadores se pierden ella les ayuda a encontrar el rumbo, cuando alguien naufraga, lo rescata la Pincoya. Es la protagonista de una leyenda chilena recopilada por Graciela Repún, que podeis leer entera en el link de la revista Imaginaria.

The Pincoya is a benign spirit that lives in the sea, when the fishermen get lost she helps them to find the way, and she rescues the shipwrecked. She is part of a legend comipled by Graciela Repún, which you can read entirely in this link of Imaginaria magazine.

Vaquita Muuu

Algunos recortes del libro en el que estoy trabajando, donde aparece este personaje-mochila. Ahora que la veo de cerca es igual a una vaca de trapo que tenía hace unos años...se llamaba Vaquita de nombre, y Mu de apellido (creo que tenía un segundo apellido, del cual no me puedo o no me quiero acordar).

A few shots of the book I'm working on, where this character-rucksack appears. Now that I see it closer it's just my old cloth cow...her first name was Vaquita (Little Cow) and her surname Mu (moooo). I think she had a second surname, which I can't or I don't want to remember.
